1 Displacement of the electricity of the national electric grid by the auto-generation of renewable energy in the Cañaveralejo Wastewater treatment plant of EMCALI in Cali, Colombia
The proposed CDM small-scale project activity is a renewable energy (biogas) power generation project that will displace electricity from the Colombian National Interconnected Grid System (SIN), partly based on fossil fuels, utilizing (combusting) the biogas captured in the process of anaerobic sludge digestion. Two 1,215 kVA generators, working on an alternate basis, will provide a 1,045 MW installed generation capacity.

5 Queluz and Lavrinhas Renewable Energy Project
The project activity consists of the construction of two new small hydroelectric plants (SHP) connected to the Interconnected National System grid. The total installed capacity is 60MW and is expected the generation of up to 374,926 MWh by year. Both plants are located at the same river, reducing the environmental impacts and exploiting the most from the rivers potential.

9 Angélica Cogeneration Project (Mill Angélica) -an Adecoagro Project Activity
The objective of the project activity is to generate energy produced by electric co-generation with bagasse (a source of energy renewable, residue from the processing of sugar cane), by installation of a new unit to co-generation in Angelica Agroenergia Ltda., a plant of Brazilian sugar and alcohol. It will also focus in social and economic sustainability by mean of renewable energy, and, consequently, dragging an increasing share of renewable energy in the total of the Brazilian electricity production and consumption. Another key reason to mention is the use of resources efficiently with a minimum environment impact. As drag along, the expected economical and social benefits will contribute to local and national sustainable development.
